2 Triple B is Bellingen Shire's independent community radio station. For more than 40 years, we have given local people a place to be heard—sharing local stories, specialist music, community news, arts, culture and conversation from across the Shire.
Every week, we broadcast more than 70 locally produced and network programs. Our presenters bring their knowledge, curiosity and musical passions to the airwaves, creating programming you will not hear on commercial radio.
Local voices. Independent radio.
2 Triple B is non-profit, non-government and community funded. We provide an alternative to commercial and public media, with room for local issues, diverse perspectives, emerging voices and the music that matters to our community.
We support Bellingen Shire's musicians, artists and creative community, while our Little Blue Van OB1 takes the station out into the community at events throughout the year. Through the CBAA Community Radio Network, we also share selected programs from community stations across Australia.
Made by the community
2 Triple B is powered by more than 60 volunteers, aged from 14 to 80. They present programs, produce local content, maintain the studio and transmission systems, support events, train new broadcasters and keep the station connected to the people it serves.
Community radio is practical participation: you can listen, volunteer, make radio, share your music or story, support a local business through sponsorship, or subscribe and donate to help keep independent local broadcasting on air.
Keep 2 Triple B on air
As an independent, community-funded station, 2 Triple B relies on subscribers, sponsors, donors and volunteers to maintain its studios, broadcast equipment, outside-broadcast capability and day-to-day operations.
